An opportunity has arisen to join their busy FM operation. We’re looking to for an experienced individual to help pave the way for the future of facilities management across their operational portfolio.

In brief you will be responsible for:

Strategic Functions:
Facilities Management: Direct the Facilities Management functions across the Midlands/Home Counties operational sites. Address reactive maintenance and implement PPM operations.
Maintenance: Oversee property maintenance and statutory compliance.
Procurement: Supervise the procurement process for facilities-related goods/services to ensure efficiency.

Leadership Responsibilities:
Convey the agreed-upon service delivery model effectively to all operational staff and internal stakeholders.
Establish functional goals and cascade them to direct reports.
Monitor FM contractors and suppliers to guarantee they provide cost-effective services.
Stay updated on legislative changes and ensure the group's interests remain protected.
Identify performance management areas to achieve objectives.

About you?
Are you a seasoned professional in the field of Maintenance and Facilities Management with at least 5 years of experience?
If you have a membership with the IWFM or hold a similar qualification, you're already ahead.

While having a management or leadership qualification would be a distinct advantage, it's not a strict necessity. What our client truly values are your demonstrated skill in managing relationships, especially negotiating and dealing at senior level.

Your strong leadership qualities, coupled with a knack for managing and guiding diverse teams, will stand you in good stead. Additionally, if you pride yourself on your stellar communication abilities and have a proficiency in managing projects and reporting, then you might be the exact fit our client is looking for.
