What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Cookies let a site remember things between pages and visits, such as whether you are signed in. Some sites also use related technology, like your browser's local storage, which works in a similar way. "First-party" cookies are set by the site you are visiting; "third-party" cookies are set by another company. We do not set any third-party cookies of our own, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
The cookies and storage we use
We use only strictly essential and functional first-party cookies. These are needed for the site to work, to keep it secure, and to remember your basic preferences, so they are not used to track you across the web. We do not need your consent for essential cookies, but we tell you about all of them here.

If an employer buys sponsored promotion, any card payment is handled on our payment processor's own secure page. That page is operated by the processor, not by us, and may set its own strictly necessary cookies to take the payment and prevent fraud. This only happens during a payment, only affects the person paying, and never involves advertising or tracking cookies on our side.
What we do not use
- No advertising cookies.
- No analytics or tracking cookies that profile you, and no Google Analytics.
- No third-party cookies of our own.
- No social media or fingerprinting trackers.
Our fonts are self-hosted, so loading the site does not call out to a third-party font network either.
Consent and our cookie notice
Because we set only essential and functional first-party cookies, and no advertising or tracking cookies, there is nothing here that requires a consent choice before it loads. We still show a short notice the first time you visit, so you know we use cookies and can read this policy. Dismissing it simply sets the ynj_cookie_ok flag so we do not show the notice again. There is no "reject" step because there are no tracking cookies to reject.
How to control cookies
Because we only use essential and functional cookies, there is nothing here to opt out of for advertising or tracking. If you would still like to manage or delete cookies and site storage, you can do so in your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Cookies and other site data.
- Safari: Settings, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions.
Please note that if you block or delete our essential cookies, parts of the site, such as signing in and swipe to apply, will not work properly.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how we use cookies, we will update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top.
