Badges and rewards

Small wins that get you hired

Job hunting is a numbers game, and hiring is a trust game. We keep score of the things that help: applying regularly if you are looking for work, and replying quickly if you are hiring. Everything here is earned, never bought.

For job seekers

Sign in and your account shows your progress. People who apply to a few jobs every week find work faster than people who apply to many in one go and then stop, so that is what we help you do.

A weekly goal of 3

Apply to 3 jobs a week, Monday to Sunday. Your account shows how many you have done and how many are left.

Streaks

Apply to at least one job each week and your streak grows. Miss a week and it starts again.

Profile strength

Six quick steps: your name, town, a one-line headline, your CV, a job alert and a saved job. A full profile makes applying here one tap.

Badges

Your first application, then 5, 10 and 25. A 3-week streak. Hearing back from an employer. A complete profile.

For employers

Your dashboard has a hiring checklist: claim your company profile, add your logo, post your first job, post 5, reply to an applicant, and bring in a teammate or your jobs feed. Each step makes your adverts work harder.

Badges jobseekers can see

These show on your company page and on your jobs, so people can tell at a glance that you are real and that you reply.

  • Verified: you have claimed your company profile with a work email on your own web domain, or our team has checked it.
  • Fast replier: you usually reply to applicants within a day, across at least 5 replies in the last 90 days, and you reply to most of the people who apply.
  • Active hirer: you have 5 or more live jobs on YourNextJob.co.uk right now.

A free boost on your 5th job

When your company posts its 5th job here, we boost it free for 7 days, so it shows higher in search and to more jobseekers. It happens automatically, once per company. Posting is free either way.

Monday at midnight, UK time. Your weekly goal is 3 applications. Apply to at least one job each week to keep your streak going.

How does an employer earn the Fast replier badge?
