We are working with a friendly and well established law firm in Swansea and Cardiff that is looking to recruit a Locum Employment Solicitor to support a busy Partner. With a strong and varied caseload, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced employment solicitor seeking an immediate start within a supportive team.

The firm has plenty of quality work available and the successful candidate will play a key role in assisting with a broad range of contentious and non contentious employment matters.

The assignment is expected to last 2 to 3 months with an ASAP start.

The Person

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Employment Law.
• Proven experience handling Employment Tribunal matters, including litigation, drafting pleadings, ET3 responses, disclosure, witness statements and the day to day management of claims.
• Strong technical knowledge of employment law with the ability to provide practical, commercial advice.
• Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail.
• Able to manage a busy workload, prioritise effectively and work to deadlines.
• A personable team player who enjoys working collaboratively and building strong client relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and case management skills.
