Senior Employment Solicitor – Fully Remote – Up to £65,000

TSR Legal has recently been instructed by a growing commercial law firm looking to appoint a senior, self-sufficient Employment Solicitor to take an important role in the continued development of its Employment offering.

This is a particularly interesting opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor who wants more than simply joining another established team and inheriting an existing caseload.

The firm operates a modern, genuinely flexible model which gives experienced lawyers considerably more freedom over how they manage their practice, clients and working day. Lawyers work remotely but remain part of a collaborative wider commercial offering, with the opportunity to work closely alongside colleagues across Corporate, Commercial, Property and other specialist areas.

The successful solicitor will have the opportunity to play a key role in developing the Employment practice, building relationships with existing clients, generating new opportunities and helping shape how the department develops moving forward.

The work itself will cover a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious Employment matters, including contracts and policies, disciplinary and grievance matters, restructures, redundancies, TUPE, settlement agreements, senior exits and Employment Tribunal litigation.

The firm is looking for someone who is already comfortable operating independently and who enjoys having direct relationships with clients.

Alongside fee earning, there is genuine scope to become instrumental in growing the Employment offering and, as the practice develops, helping to build a wider team around you.

This could therefore suit a Senior Associate or experienced Employment Solicitor who feels they have reached a ceiling within a larger department and wants considerably more ownership, visibility and influence without necessarily taking on the risks associated with setting up independently.

Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience, together with fully remote working and significant autonomy.
