Material Support Specialist

£22.43 per hour PAYE / £30.00 Umbrella | 35 hours per week | 12-month contract

Morson Edge are recruiting for Material Support Specialists to support a major Aerospace programme at RAF Brize Norton.

This opportunity would suit experienced Material Managers, Supply Chain Coordinators, Procurement Coordinators, Material Controllers, Supply Chain Analysts or Logistics Coordinators looking to apply their experience within a specialist Aerospace environment.

Working within Material Management, you’ll help ensure the effective coordination and reporting of materials, supporting business operations and maintaining strong relationships with internal customers and stakeholders.

You’ll be responsible for monitoring material requirements, identifying potential supply chain risks, resolving issues and providing accurate reporting to support operational requirements. The role will also involve attending meetings, coordinating with different departments and ensuring material-related issues are progressed efficiently.

You’ll need previous experience in Material Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics or Engineering/Manufacturing, alongside practical experience using SAP.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, together with the confidence to attend meetings, manage customer relationships, identify risks and produce supply chain reports.

A formal qualification is less important than relevant hands-on experience, making this a good opportunity for candidates who have developed their skills through industry experience.

• Location: RAF Brize Norton – 100% onsite

• Duration: 12 months

• Hours: 35 per week, worked across 4.5 days between 07:00 and 19:00

• Clearance: BPSS initially, with ability to obtain SC

• Interview: One-stage virtual interview
