About the role
Hays Education are recruiting Learning Support Assistants to join a supportive specialist education setting in Coventry from 2 November 2026.
Full-time availability is preferred, although part-time opportunities are also available.
Your New Company
You will be joining a welcoming and inclusive specialist education setting in Coventry, working alongside a dedicated team focused on providing a positive and supportive learning environment. Your New Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students and teaching staff, providing tailored support throughout the day.
Your role will include:
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support
- Helping students engage with lessons and activities
- Supporting students with a range of additional needs
- Encouraging confidence, communication and independence
- Adapting your approach to individual student needs
- Creating a positive and supportive learning experience
- Working closely with teaching and support staff
Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to FridayStart date: 02/11/2026Full-time preferred, with part-time options available.
What You'll Need to Succeed
We're looking for individuals who are:
- Passionate about supporting young people with additional needs
- Patient, caring and positive
- Reliable with strong communication skills
- Comfortable working as part of a supportive team
- Experienced within education, SEN, care or support work
You'll need to register with Hays Education before starting, and we'll support you throughout the registration and necessary compliance checks.
