Teaching Assistant - Multi-Academy TrustLocation: SheffieldAgency: Tradewind RecruitmentPay: £95-£130 per day, depending on experience and school budgetTradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to work across a well-established Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) in Sheffield, supporting pupils across specialist educational settings.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and other support staff across the trust, providing tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting pupils with SEND to access learning and develop their independence.Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required.Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.Supporting pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development.Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.Adapting your approach to meet the individual needs of pupils.The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:Has previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children and young people with SEND.Has a patient, resilient and nurturing approach.Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.Is confident adapting their support to meet individual needs.Is reliable, flexible and willing to work across different schools within the trust.Is available to work full-time, ideally Monday to Friday.Experience within specialist SEN settings would be particularly beneficial.Pay and Benefits£95-£130 per day, depending on experience and the school's budget.Opportunity to gain experience across an established Multi-Academy Trust.Support from a dedicated consultant at Tradewind Recruitment.The opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of pupils with additional needs.Please note: The higher end of the pay scale is reserved for candidates with solid, relevant experience who are available to work full-time.
