Service Advisor

We are seeking an experienced vehicle Service Advisor to join a well-established commercial vehicle dealership in Swansea. Benefits: Starting salary up to 32,598 per annum, with an increase to 33,575 after 6 monthsAccess to a commitment bonus of 600 per year plus participation in a company profit share bonus schemeAdditional earnings through commissions on the sale of service contracts22 days annual holiday plus 8 bank holidays, increasing to 25 after 5 years and 27 after 10 yearsFull manufacturer-accredited training and ongoing professional developmentCompany pension schemeOpportunities for long-term career progressionWorking hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 7:00am and 6:00pm, with one in three Saturdays (8:00am-1:00pm)Duties as a Service Advisor: Accurately capturing customer details and vehicle faults at first contactManaging telephone bookings and inputting details into workshop systemsRaising and preparing job cards, ensuring all necessary documentation is completeUpdating customers on vehicle repair progress and advising on necessary repairsSelling additional services, including service contracts and warrantiesArranging payments and discussing repair options with customersCoordinating workshop schedules to ensure timely vehicle repairsExplaining vehicle test requirements and arranging MOT/inspection appointmentsProviding excellent customer service through effective communication and problem-solving skillsMaintaining accurate data entry into customer management systems such as Kerridge or ADPRequirements: Proven experience as a vehicle Service Advisor within a franchise-approved dealershipStrong customer service and communication skillsExcellent organisational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and DMS systemsFull, clean UK driving licence with minimal pointsKnowledge of commercial vehicle dealership operations is desirableAbility to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through professional conductIf you meet these requirements and are eager to join a reputable dealership committed to employee development, we encourage you to apply.
