Plumber

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are a recruitment company that specialise in placing people within the repairs & maintenance industry.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber to carry out responsive repairs and maintenance across social housing properties in Oxford.

Duties

• Carrying out plumbing repairs in occupied properties

• Diagnosing and repairing leaks, blockages and drainage issues

• Replacing taps, toilets, basins and other sanitary ware

• Repairing and replacing pipework, valves and fittings

• Working on unvented cylinders, hot water systems and radiators

• Removing and refitting bath panels to access pipework and carry out repairs

• Recording completed works and materials used

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

• Providing excellent customer service to residents

Requirements

• Proven experience in domestic plumbing repairs and maintenance

• Experience working on unvented cylinders

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Full UK driving licence

• Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours emergency rota

Details

• Full-time, permanent position

• Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm (42.5 hours per week)

• Location: Oxford
