As Retail Leasing Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying and securing tenants across an established retail portfolio as well as new developments. From engaging national retailers and independent operators to negotiating rentals, lease terms and commercial conditions, you'll drive your own deals from initial discussions through to signed agreements. Beyond the negotiations, you'll take responsibility for keeping vacancy schedules, leasing pipelines and keep deal information accurate and up to date - working closely with the leasing administration team to ensure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll also have the opportunity to introduce smarter systems and more efficient ways of managing leasing information, while contributing to tenant mix decisions and supporting the commercial success of both existing and future retail assets.

Our client is looking for a commercially astute leasing professional with a minimum of 4 years' retail leasing experience with excellent administration skill. Fluency in Afrikaans, strong relationship-building skills and a proactive approach to improving processes are important. You'll need to be Pretoria-based, with the confidence to operate independently and the drive to ensure all necessary documentation is ship-shape.
