About the role
Are you the person people turn to when something goes wrong, and love making it right?
I have a opportunity for a 1st Line Support Technician to join a busy IT Support Team at a Portsmouth head office. You’ll be the first point of contact for colleagues across the business, helping keep the systems they rely on running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing
- Responding to calls, emails, portal tickets and face-to-face requests within agreed SLAs
- Logging, categorising and assigning tickets accurately in the ITSM system
- Providing telephone and remote support to colleagues and vessel crews across all locations
- Monitoring live operational systems, and raising incidents where needed
- Escalating issues to the wider IT team with clear communication
- Supporting the department with admin, including purchasing and invoice processing
