The Role
In addition to the duties outlined in the job description, this role will involve:
- Working across mainstream settings to support pupils, including those attending Alder Brook on short-term placements
- Supporting pupils during their placement and throughout some if their transition back into mainstream school
- Providing advice and practical strategies to mainstream practitioners to support successful reintegration
- Helping to build capacity by teaching classes within Alder Brook, enabling other practitioners to work in mainstream settings as part of the “Expert at Hand” offer
