Assembly Operative Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join a well established Construction industry supplier. Pay rates from £13 per hour. The role of Assembly Operator in the Romford area. you will be tasked with the manufacture of Wiring Looms and Electrical Panels. Training provided. You will be working in a small team that has the potential to grow.

Shifts for Assembly Operator:

• Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm
• Friday 8am – 4.40pm

Pay :

• From £13ph
• Paid weekly

Key Personal Requirements

• Comfortable with different types of assembly jobs.
• Conscientious and diligent towards the quality of their work
• Punctual and prepared to work overtime if required
• Ability to work alongside others
• Maybe required to work in standing position, generally seated work but some assemblies will not allow seats
• Confidence in using lifting equipment and pallet trucks
• Accepting of using Personal Protective Clothing (PPE)

Key Skills

1. Ability to use general mechanical assembly tools
2. Experience of wire crimping, these can be extremely small and delicate operations.
3. IT experience extremely advantageous
4. Confident using electrical test equipment
5. Experience of using automated equipment

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidates. With the possibility of longer term employment. We are looking for a candidate to take on roles given and have the drive to carry on the role. which could be unsupervised at times due to the small team.
