Assembly Operative

We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join our manufacturing client based in Leicestershire.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity within a busy and growing manufacturing environment. The role offers a friendly and supportive workplace, regular overtime opportunities and the potential for long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities :

Assemble a variety of products to the required specifications.
Work with a range of materials, including aluminium, acrylic, vinyl and steel.
Safely and effectively operate a variety of hand and power tools.
Inspect completed products to ensure a high-quality finish.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workstation.
Follow company health and safety and quality procedures.
Work efficiently to meet production requirements and deadlines.

Skills Required

Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing or fabrication is preferred.
Read and work from technical drawings and assembly instructions.
Good practical and hands-on skills.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and assembly instructions.
Ability to follow instructions accurately.
Strong attention to detail.
High standard of workmanship and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.

Rate of Pay

£13.00 per hour
