Care Team Leader – Nights

Radiant Jobs Ltd is recruiting a Care Team Leader for night shifts within a London residential care setting. You will lead the shift, coordinate care delivery and support colleagues to provide safe, respectful and person-centred care. The role is ideal for an experienced care professional ready to take greater responsibility for people, medication, risk and care-plan delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the care team throughout the night shift.
• Allocate duties and ensure safe, effective care delivery.
• Support care planning and act as a key point of contact for residents and families.
• Administer and record medication where trained and authorised.
• Carry out and review risk assessments.
• Work alongside care assistants to support residents’ daily needs and independence.
• Escalate concerns appropriately and maintain accurate records.
• Support service development and maintain professional standards.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in adult social care.
• Proven ability to lead or supervise colleagues.
• Good understanding of care-planning processes.
• Strong organisation, delegation and IT skills.
• Willingness and ability to undertake medication responsibilities following training.
• Compassionate, professional and reliable approach.

Qualifications Required

• Relevant care qualification or equivalent experience.

Desirable Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Previous experience leading night shifts.
