Veterinary Care Assistant

Exciting opportunities await you at Hull Vets for Pets, where we are searching for a passionate Veterinary Care Assistant to join our close-knit team of animal lovers. This full-time position offers a 40-hour workweek spread over 4-5 days, including one Saturday morning every four weeks. Our purpose-built practice is equipped with top-of-the-line facilities, ensuring that you can provide excellent clinical care while working alongside a supportive group of professionals who prioritize each other's well-being.

Your role will encompass a variety of tasks under the guidance of a Veterinary Surgeon or Registered Veterinary Nurse. You will be responsible for safely handling and restraining animals, monitoring their care pre- and post-surgery, and maintaining accurate patient records. While prior experience in animal care is desirable, we offer in-house training to equip you with the necessary skills. Strong communication abilities and attention to detail are key in this busy environment.
