Electrical Estimator – Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator with a keen eye for detail to join our team. You will be responsible for the preparation of detailed and compliant tender submissions across a range of sectors, playing a key role within the company's continued expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse all tender documentation, including drawings, specifications and schedules etc to prepare accurate tender bids.
• Prepare and submit competitive bids within specified deadlines.
• Laise with supply chain to obtain competitive and compliant quotations.
• Identify and cost value engineering opportunities.
• Attend mid tender and post tender review meetings as required.
• Work collaboratively with project delivery team overseeing detailed handovers to preconstruction and contracts managers.    

Key Skills and Criteria

• Experience as an electrical estimator or similar role.

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and installation methods, preferably having completed a relevant apprenticeship or HNC/HND qualification.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and preferably experienced using Trimble estimating software.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
