CNC Programmer Turner

CNC TURNER PROGRAMMER We are recruiting for an experienced CNC TURNER to work for our client who are located in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Our Client are a long established Precision Engineering company that produces a wide variety of high–quality machined components that currently have an opening for a skilled CNC TURNER Programmer, Setter, Operator to join our small friendly team. We support several Blue Chip customers across the country with their precision component requirements. Main accountabilities: To programme, set and operate Turning Centres with Fanuc control. Experience with other control systems would be considered. Key skills: – Previous programming, setting & operating experience producing 1 off s & small batches in a wide range of materials, including exotics. – Quality checking your own work using micrometers, bore mic s, etc. – Reading engineering drawings. – Working to tight tolerances. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS: Minimum 3 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background or Apprentice trained Experience producing high quality one offs and small batches Excellent communication skills THE HOURS: You will be working days 39 hours a week Mon Thurs: 7am 5.15pm Overtime Available. THE PAY / BENEFITS: You will earn an hourly rate of GBP18 min 257 hrs holiday (includes stats) 4 day working week Overtime when required at x1.5 Working in a modern/ clean environment.
