The Installations Supervisor (Timber Frame) key responsibilities are:
- Oversee day-to-day timber frame installation activities to keep work on schedule.
- Coordinate installation teams and site activity to maintain an organised workflow.
- Check completed installation work against agreed plans and required standards.
- Monitor site progress and raise practical issues promptly to reduce delays.
- Work with relevant site contacts to plan installation requirements and sequencing.
- Promote safe working practices throughout timber frame installation activities.
- Maintain clear records of work completed, progress and any site issues.
- Help ensure materials and installation areas are ready for planned work.
Profile
A successful Installations Supervisor (Timber Frame) should have:
- Experience overseeing timber frame installation work.
- Knowledge of site-based installation planning and sequencing.
- Ability to check work against drawings, plans and agreed standards.
- Experience coordinating installation teams and daily site activity.
- Understanding of safe working practices in a construction setting.
