About the role
Overall responsibility to lead the inspection function of the business, ensuring robust control of product quality from internal manufacturing, subcontract activity and goods receipt. To support the business operational and functional teams in the successful achievement of their objectives.

Salary: From £42,932.76 + £2,675 team leader bonus per annum
Metalis are working with a well established business in Ripley, who are looking for a Chief Inspector to join their team.
Job Duties
- Support the Quality Manager and Production Manager to achieve flowed down company objectives
- Ensure that their team members are suitably trained and skilled
- Ensure all inspection requirements are completed as specified by the route cards and company procedures
- Perform CMM, manual, visual goods receipt and patrol inspection operations
- Ensure all non-conformance is controlled and recorded
- Participate in problem investigations and contribute to solutions
Job Requirements
- Quality experience
- Leadership experience
- CMM experience (Mitutoyo MCOSMOS)
- Experience in relevant industries (Aerospace, Nuclear, Power Generation)
Salary, Shift & Benefits
- From £42,932.76 + £2,675 team leader bonus per annum
- Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm & Friday, - 7:30am - 12:30pm
- 33 holidays (including statutory)
