Metalwork Design Coordinator Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: £43,000 to £47,000 DOE
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Noble Recruiting is looking for an experienced Metalwork Design Coordinator to join a growing manufacturing company in Basildon. Working closely with the estimating, design and production teams, you’ll be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings, preparing manufacturing information and ensuring metalwork projects run smoothly from design through to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings and manufacturing production packs.
- Prepare material schedules and CNC component drawings.
- Identify design challenges and provide practical solutions.
- Liaise with production teams to ensure cost effective manufacturing.
- Manage material requisitions and project trackers.
- Provide technical metalwork support throughout projects.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong AutoCAD 2D skills, essential.
- Experience in metalwork design, fabrication or manufacturing.
- Excellent technical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Autodesk Inventor experience advantageous.
