About the role

Pay: £95 to £135 per day
CER Education are working exclusively with a large Multi-Academy Trust in Darlington that are looking for some Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / Teaching Assistant (TA) to help support students in their schools. The role is a mix of 1 to 1 and small groups, working with students with SEN needs, in two of their primary schools. The role starts in January 2027 and will run until the Easter break in the first instance. They will look to offer permanent positions, depending on staff suitability.
It is essential that you have experience working with children or young adults, within the SEN or care sector.
To be considered for this position of Teaching Assistant (TA) / Learning Support Assistant (LSA) you must have:
*Experience of group management of school-aged children;
*Shown commitment to learning and development of pupils;
*Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff and students.
