Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Wythenshawe to recruit experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistants for full-time PPA cover positions starting in December 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for confident and adaptable classroom practitioners who enjoy leading learning, supporting pupil development, and working across a range of year groups. With lesson plans and resources provided, you will be able to focus on delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday | Term Time Only

The Role

As a Full-Time PPA Cover Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2
• Create and maintain a positive, engaging learning environment
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and confidently
• Adapt quickly to different classrooms and year groups as required
• Work closely with teaching staff and school leaders to ensure continuity of learning

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for candidates who:

• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Have experience supporting or delivering learning across primary age groups
• Are confident leading whole-class activities and covering lessons independently
• Demonstrate strong communication and classroom management skills
• Are proactive, adaptable, and passionate about supporting children's learning
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one
