Shunter / Trunker Driver
Location: Bidfood Slough
Hours: Full Time
Shift Pattern: Mid-Shift - Sunday - ThursdayWe are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Shunter / Trunker Driver to join our Transport Team at Bidfood Slough.
Key Responsibilities
- Shunting vehicles and trailers around the depot safely.
- Moving vehicles to and from loading bays.
- Completing trunking runs between Bidfood depots and customer locations.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
- Ensuring compliance with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and company policies.
- Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and professionalism.
- Delivering and collecting vehicles from garages, MOT stations, and external suppliers.
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good understanding of driver compliance and road safety legislation.
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently.
- Flexible approach to meet operational requirements.
