About the role
We are seeking temporary Student Support Assistants for a FE College, to support learners with SEND and EHCPs.
Role Details
Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 6 hours per day)
Pay: £16.68 per hour (paid through umbrella)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1-to-1 and small group academic and pastoral support.
Work in and out of the classroom to develop students' independence and social skills.
Liaise with tutors and the Head of SEND to maintain a safe learning environment.
Requirements:
Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
Previous experience in an educational or SEND setting is highly preferred.
Professional, personable approach to working with young people.
