I'm working with a successful and growing building services contractor who are looking to appoint two experienced Mechanical Project Managers to join their team. Based from Newbury, with projects running along the A34 corridor and into London, this is a great opportunity for an experienced PM who wants to work on technically interesting office and life sciences fit-out projects, with values ranging from smaller works through to 2m. You'll have genuine ownership of your projects, strong support from the wider team and the opportunity to build a long-term career with a business that is continuing to grow. You'll be responsible for: Managing mechanical projects from concept through to completionManaging project programmes, budgets and commercial performanceCoordinating site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and consultantsManaging procurement and project resourcesOverseeing design development and technical coordinationManaging variations, valuations and commercial changesMonitoring progress, quality and programmeManaging testing, commissioning and handoverBuilding strong relationships with clients and project stakeholdersIdentifying project risks and finding practical solutionsManaging multiple projects where required, depending on project sizeWhat We're Looking For We're keen to speak with experienced Mechanical Project Managers with a strong background in building services and commercial fit-out. Ideally, you'll have experience with: Commercial office fitoutLife sciences projectsMechanical building servicesManaging projects through the full project lifecycleProject values up to 2mSubcontractor and site team managementCommercial and client managementProgramme and cost controlYou'll need to be commercially aware, organised and confident taking ownership of your projects, while being able to work closely with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
