Temporary Customer Scheduler – North Nottingham

Your new company You will be joining a well–established manufacturing organisation in Nottinghamshire with a strong reputation for quality and customer service. Due to ongoing business requirements, they are looking to recruit a Customer Scheduler on a temporary basis for an initial period of around 3 months.This is a varied, customer–focused position where you will act as a key link between customers and internal operational teams, helping to ensure customer requirements are understood, achievable and delivered effectively. Your new role Reporting to a senior member of the operational team, you will be the main point of contact for your allocated customers and will manage requirements from initial order through to delivery.Your responsibilities will include: Acting as a key point of contact for customers, resolving scheduling and order–related queriesManaging customer requirements and ensuring orders are processed accurately in line with agreed termsWorking closely with production teams to ensure customer requirements and timescales are achievableMonitoring customer orders and tracking progress through productionIdentifying potential delays or changes in priorities and communicating these internallyDeveloping strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholdersWorking closely with Purchasing, Planning and other operational teams to resolve supply issuesSupporting with outstanding customer accounts where requiredHosting customers during site visitsSupporting the preparation and presentation of customer KPI informationMaintaining high standards of accuracy, quality and customer serviceWhat you'll need to succeed To be successful in this position, you will ideally have: Previous experience within a customer–facing, scheduling, order management or manufacturing environmentStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage several priorities simultaneouslyExcellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracyStrong Excel and PowerPoint skillsConfident communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at different levelsThe ability to remain organised and solutions–focused when working under pressureA positive, proactive and resilient approachGood time management skills and the flexibility to adapt to changing prioritiesPrevious experience within an engineering or production environment would be advantageous, as would experience producing and presenting customer KPI information.
