Year 1 Teacher - January Start

Location: Droylsden, Tameside
Contract: Full-time

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher for a full-time position at a primary school in Droylsden, Tameside, starting in January.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher who can create an engaging and supportive classroom environment, helping pupils make a confident transition from the Early Years Foundation Stage into Key Stage 1.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Have experience teaching in Year 1 or across KS1.

• Deliver engaging, creative lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

• Have a good understanding of the KS1 curriculum, including phonics, early reading, writing and maths.

• Create a positive classroom environment with effective behaviour management strategies.

• Be committed to supporting pupils' academic progress and personal development.
