About the role
I'm currently working with an exciting and growing business looking to hire a Technology & Data Engineer to join their expanding Technology & Data team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or junior engineer who wants to gain hands-on experience across software development, data, automation, and AI. You'll work on real-world projects that directly impact the business while developing your technical skills in a collaborative environment.
The role will see you contributing to the development of an internal technology platform, including a major AI initiative designed to help teams work smarter, improve processes, and maximise the value of business data.
Key Responsibilities:
• Building and maintaining features across internal technology platforms
• Developing tools, applications, and solutions using Python and SQL
• Working with business data and supporting data-driven initiatives
• Building integrations and automating processes across systems
• Contributing throughout the full development lifecycle, from design to deployment
• Supporting the development of innovative AI solutions
• Collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business
Requirements:
• Experience with Python and SQL
• Understanding of software development fundamentals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Interest in data, AI, and emerging technologies
• Eagerness to learn and develop across multiple technical disciplines
• A proactive mindset with the confidence to take ownership and contribute ideas
This role would suit a Computer Science, Software Engineering or related graduate, or someone with early commercial experience looking to accelerate their career within a supportive and innovative environment.
