About the role
Heathrow | Up to £40,000 + 10% Shift Allowance | 4 on 4 off
Our client is a leading freight forwarder based in the Heathrow area and is looking for an experienced AOG Operator to join their growing team.
This is a primarily Air Export-focused position, working on time-critical AOG shipments where speed, accuracy and strong communication are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Managing AOG shipments from booking through to delivery
- Handling primarily Air Export operations
- Coordinating urgent and time-critical shipments
- Liaising with airlines, hauliers, overseas agents and customers
- Preparing and checking export documentation
- Tracking shipments and providing regular updates
- Dealing with operational issues and resolving them quickly
- Ensuring all shipments are handled within strict deadlines
- Previous experience within AOG, Air Freight or Air Export
- Strong understanding of air freight export procedures
- Experience handling time-critical shipments
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- £40,000 basic salary
- 10% shift allowance
- 4 on 4 off shift pattern
