About the role
Another Commercial Underwriter opportunity with a growing Insurer, working with a great team.
You'll be underwriting a wide range of existing business renewals for your Broking partners, focussing on risks to 100K across all Property and Casualty classes.

Key responsibilities of the Commercial Underwriter role includes:
- Manage own cases writing within appetite, and underwriting authority.
- Handle referral cases for colleagues with less experience.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of underwriting decisions.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with Broking partners.
- Display strong negotiation to support conversion and relationships with all key Brokers.
To be a successful Commercial Underwriter you will demonstrate:
- Experience in Commercial Underwriting
- Ability to negotiate flexibly and appropriately
- Strong organisational skills
- Successfully developing effective trading relationships
- Clear and positive communication
