- Supporting printers and other technology across the site.
- Assisting with new device deployments and technology rollouts.
- Getting involved with IT upgrades, infrastructure improvements and wider projects.
- Working alongside the IT team to ensure systems and technology run smoothly across the school.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within an IT Support, IT Technician, IT Engineer or similar technical role.
- Good knowledge of Windows desktops and laptops.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
- Good general networking knowledge.
- Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
- Any exposure to servers, virtualisation or cloud technologies would be beneficial.
- Confident communicating with users with different levels of technical knowledge.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving.
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a small IT team.
- Someone who enjoys variety and is happy getting involved across different areas of IT.
Previous experience within education or a school environment would be beneficial but isn't essential. Candidates coming from an MSP, internal IT team or similarly varied technical environment would also be well suited.
