About the role
Love keeping things organised and running smoothly? At Origin, we're looking for a proactive and highly organised Technical Service Coordinator to join our Technical Support team. As a leading British manufacturer of premium aluminium doors and windows, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer service long after our products have been installed. You'll play a key role in keeping our field service operation running smoothly, coordinating technicians, managing customer appointments and ensuring an excellent aftersales experience. What will you be doing? Planning and coordinating field technician schedules, service appointments and workloads to maximise efficiency. Acting as a key point of contact for customers, trade partners and technicians, ensuring clear and timely communication. Managing changing priorities, resolving scheduling challenges and coordinating follow–up works. Reviewing technician reports, tracking outstanding actions and maintaining accurate service records. Monitoring technician performance and service KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and customer experience. Supporting day–to–day administration, including reporting, purchase orders and service–related enquiries. What are we looking for? We're looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys problem–solving and takes pride in keeping things on track. You'll ideally have: Previous experience coordinating field–based engineers, technicians or service teams. Experience within manufacturing, construction products or technical services. Experience using CRM, ERP or service management systems. Excellent organisational, planning and communication skills. Confidence managing competing priorities and responding to unexpected challenges. Good Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to interpret operational data. A proactive, customer–focused approach with excellent attention to detail. Experience with KPI reporting or workforce planning would be an advantage. What's in it for you? Origin offers employees a competitive benefits package: Health & wellbeing: Subsidised healthcare, 24/7 virtual GPs and confidential employee support. Family & future: Enhanced family benefits and life assurance. Time & recognition: Christmas shutdown and long–service awards. A little extra: Gym and retail discounts, Cycle to Work, social events and selected Wycombe Wanderers FC tickets. Development: Training, opportunities to learn new skills and room to progress.
