Side Loader Operator

As a Side Loader Operator, you'll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently by safely moving timber and materials throughout the sawmill and yard areas. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Side Loader to move, stack and transport timber and other materials around the site. Load, unload and position timber to support production and dispatch operations. Maintain a consistent supply of materials to production areas. Complete daily machine inspections and report any defects. Work closely with production and yard teams to ensure materials are moved safely and efficiently. Maintain excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards. What We Are Looking For Previous experience operating a Side Loader, forklift or similar material–handling equipment. A valid Side Loader, Forklift or relevant Plant Operator ticket (or equivalent). Experience within a sawmill, timber, warehouse, manufacturing or other industrial environment. A strong awareness of health and safety. Experience handling timber or operating other plant machinery such as loading shovels or telehandlers would be advantageous but isn't essential.
