Senior Paralegal – Lease Extensions & Enfranchisement
Brighton – Sussex – Hybrid Working
A specialist property law team is seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal to support its highly regarded Lease Extensions and Enfranchisement practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional with experience in residential leasehold matters to work alongside leading specialists, manage their own caseload, and contribute to the development of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of lease extension and enfranchisement matters under supervision
- Supporting senior lawyers on complex cases
- Drafting notices, deeds, correspondence, and legal documents
- Handling statutory and voluntary lease extensions and freehold acquisitions
- Managing completion and post-completion matters, including SDLT and Land Registry applications
- Assisting with the supervision and development of junior team members
- Maintaining high standards of client service and file management
- Recording time accurately and meeting billing requirements
About You
- Minimum five years' legal sector experience
- Proven experience in leasehold property matters, including lease extensions and enfranchisement
- Residential conveyancing experience desirable
- Excellent organisational and client care skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
