About the role
Join an Expanding Team Reshaping the Future of Social Care!
We're an award-winning Technology Enabled Care service that combines smart technology with meaningful human support, helping people live independently, safely and confidently in their own homes.
In response to growing demand, our service continues to grow so we're looking for compassionate and motivated SOL Connect Responders to join our overnight team.
This isn't a traditional support worker role. Using our SOL Connect HUB which enables face to face video conferencing you'll connect directly with people in their homes from our office base, providing reassurance, wellbeing support, medication prompts and other monitoring.
Sometimes people need in-person support through the night, and that's where you make a difference. As a member of our Responder team, you will play a crucial role in helping people live safely and independently in their own homes. By responding when support is needed most, you will help prevent avoidable hospital admissions, enable safe hospital discharges, support unpaid carers, and improve the quality of life for people who rely on care and support services.
What You'll Do
- Deliver overnight support in person and remotely line with individual outcomes and TEC support plans.
- Build positive relationships with the people we support.
- Use technology to provide reassurance, wellbeing support and connection.
- Respond to requests for support and changing circumstances.
- Help people remain safe, independent and connected within their communities.
We're Looking For People Who
- Are passionate about supporting people to live independently.
- Share our values and person-centred approach.
- Communicate confidently and build positive relationships.
- Embracing new ways of working.
- Want to be part of an innovative service making a real difference.
Why Join SOL Connect?
- Be part of an expanding, award-winning service.
- Work at the forefront of Technology Enabled Care.
- Receive comprehensive training and development.
- Play a role in shaping the future of social care services
- Make a real difference to people's lives every day.
If you're looking for a role where smart technology and human support come together to create better outcomes for people, we'd love to hear from you.
