About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to work for Braintree District Council on an upcoming project, collecting local waste and delivering new bins to local resident. Pay rates from £12.71 per hour. The role of Refuse Loader is based in Braintree area.
Shifts for Refuse Loader:
- Monday – Friday – 07:00 – 15:00
Pay:
- £12.71 per hour
- £13.58 (£20.38 OT) per hour after 12 weeks completed
Main Duties of Refuse Loader:
- Working with the local council’s waste team to collect domestic and commercial waste
- Working with a crew on a refuse truck (no driving involved)
- Learning how to use a rear end loader for wheelie bins
- Representing the Council while delivering new wheelies bins for upcoming waste collection changes around Braintree area
- Observing all council health and safety rules
- Finish when the work is done, usually early
