This is an excellent opportunity for a data professional with strong Power BI and reporting experience to support the maintenance and development of performance dashboards, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available to managers and senior leadership teams.
The service currently uses ChildView, with information feeding through from Liquidlogic, to monitor caseloads, workforce allocation, waiting lists and overall service activity. Existing dashboards are already established, so the immediate priority will be maintaining these systems, checking data accuracy and keeping reporting outputs up to date.

- Produce accurate monthly performance reports for management and senior leadership teams.

- Support the development and improvement of performance monitoring systems.
- Work with Children’s Services colleagues to ensure reporting requirements are met.
- Support quarterly reporting requirements, with potential responsibility from January onwards.
- Present complex data and findings clearly to colleagues and managers.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Data Analyst, Performance Analyst or similar.
- Strong Power BI skills, including dashboard maintenance, reporting and data visualisation.
- Good Excel skills and experience analysing large datasets.
- Experience producing performance reports and interpreting operational data.
- Understanding of databases and how data transfers between different systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and ensure data accuracy.
- Good communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working within a local authority, council or public sector organisation.
- Experience within Children’s Services, social care or Youth Justice.
- Knowledge of ChildView, Liquidlogic or similar case management systems.
- Experience analysing caseloads, waiting lists, workforce allocation and service performance.
Additional Information
The successful candidate will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check for working with children.
This is a three-month assignment offering an immediate start, with hybrid working arrangements.
