🌟 WE'RE HIRING! 🌟Behaviour Support Worker - LeicesterImmediate Start | Full-Time OpportunitiesAre you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people?Do you have the patience, resilience and enthusiasm to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Worker to join a specialist education setting in Leicester, supporting students who present with challenging behaviour and complex SEMH needs.💙 About the RoleThis is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with young people who need additional guidance, understanding and support to overcome barriers to learning.You will:Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEMH needs.Support students displaying challenging behaviour, helping them regulate their emotions and manage difficult situations.Implement positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques.Build positive, trusting relationships with students.Encourage engagement, confidence and positive choices.Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider support team to create a safe, supportive learning environment.⭐ The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:Has experience supporting children or young people with challenging behaviour, SEMH or additional needs.Is patient, resilient, empathetic and consistent.Can remain calm and confident in challenging situations.Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Is passionate about helping young people reach their full potential.Experience in a school, PRU, alternative provision, residential care or youth work setting would be highly beneficial.
