About the role
Astute's Power team is partnering with a reputable engineering company to recruit a High Voltage Engineer on a 12 Month contract to support its work winning team within the Power sector.
The High Voltage Engineer role will be a mostly remote position, with occasional visits to sites nationally.
Key skills required for the High Voltage Engineer role
- Electrical Engineering training and experience.
- Strong working knowledge and experience with HV works and design.
- Experience with large scale cable laying or substation projects and experience on national grid projects.
- Confident working from 132Kv upwards.
Location, details and timeframe of the High Voltage Engineer role
- Mostly remote role, with occasional visits to sites nationally.
- 12 month contract with strong possibility to extend.
- Mileage expenses for site visits.
- Supporting the companies work winning team for cable laying and substation projects.
