They're looking for a Sales Manager to join the team behind their cloud security show, selling exhibition stands and sponsorship and helping the event hit and exceed its targets.

The role
You'll own your pipeline and accounts, working across new business and existing clients in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You'll be:

Delivering your personal sales targets across stands and sponsorship
Delivering the show strategy, including exhibitor mix, stand sales, sponsorship inventory and yield
Identifying and winning key new business while growing existing accounts
Listening to what clients need and pitching solutions that close the sale
Writing clear, persuasive proposals, negotiating terms and handling objections
Meeting clients face to face and attending industry and competitor events
Getting close to the cloud security market and building your pitch around its trends
Keeping your pipeline and sales records accurate and up to date
Supporting colleagues with the smooth running of the event when needed

What you'll get

About you

Proven B2B sales experience, ideally selling exhibition stands, sponsorship or media
A strong record of meeting and beating targets
Confident managing your own pipeline and a busy mix of new and existing accounts
Confident on the phone and happy to hit an activity target of around 90 minutes of calls a day
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Curious about cloud security and tech, and keen to learn what matters to buyers and vendors
Organised, detail-focused and a positive team player
