Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to win and grow relationships with banks and consumer lenders across Europe. You already know the people who make decisions in retail lending, credit risk and digital banking. You also know how banks buy technology, from the first conversation through security reviews and procurement to a signed contract. You will work closely with the founders.

• Use your network to open doors at banks and lenders, and build relationships with heads of retail lending, credit risk, digital and compliance.
• Own deals from start to finish: discovery, pilots, security and vendor assessments, procurement and contract signature.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline and forecast it accurately.
• Position Mifundo as the way for banks to grow with newcomer customers and meet Consumer Credit Directive II (CCD II) requirements for cross-border lending.
• Coordinate product, tech and compliance colleagues to support pilots and integrations.
• Grow existing accounts by adding new use cases and markets.
• Bring market insight back to the team to shape product, pricing and go-to-market.
• Represent Mifundo at industry events, conferences and client meetings.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in enterprise B2B sales, with a proven track record of closing deals with banks or other financial institutions.
• Network: Established relationships with decision-makers at European banks.
• Industry knowledge: A solid understanding of retail lending and credit risk, and of how banks evaluate and buy technology (procurement, vendor risk, DORA, security reviews).
• Background: Experience at a credit bureau, credit data provider, banking software vendor or regtech company, or in a bank’s lending or risk function.
• Ownership: Self-driven and able to build pipeline and close deals with little guidance in a startup environment.
• Communication: Excellent English. Other European languages are a strong plus.
• Travel: Willing to travel to meet clients across Europe.

Nice to have: Knowledge of CCD II and consumer credit regulation, experience selling data or API products, and experience as an early sales hire at a startup.
