Site Engineer

Site Engineer | Regional Contractor | North East | £50k - £55k + Package

We’re currently working with an established civil engineering contractor to recruit a Site Engineer to support a growing pipeline of highways and water projects across the North East

This role would suit an Engineer who enjoys being heavily involved on site, working closely with delivery teams and playing a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification

The business has a strong regional presence and secured workload, offering long-term opportunities and progression within an established team

What You’ll Be Doing;

• Setting out for highways and water infrastructure projects
• Supporting day-to-day site operations and project delivery
• Producing and maintaining as-built records
• Supporting QA documentation, inspections and ITPs
• Assisting with temporary works and method statement implementation
• Liaising with subcontractors, supervisors and operational teams
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with specification
• Supporting programme and technical delivery on site

What You Will Need;

• Previous experience working on highways and/or water projects
• Strong setting out and site engineering background
• Ability to read drawings and resolve technical issues on site
• Good understanding of QA processes and site documentation
• CSCS and relevant civil engineering qualifications
• Strong communication and organisational skills
