A fantastic opportunity is available for a Civil Drainage Engineer to join a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy with over 30 years of experience delivering engineering solutions across the UK and internationally.

Your Responsibilities as a Civil Drainage Engineer

• Designing drainage systems and preparing drainage strategies for residential developments.
• Developing surface water management solutions, including attenuation and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).
• Producing adoptable highway layouts and associated infrastructure designs.
• Supporting the delivery of projects from initial feasibility through to detailed design.
• Ensuring designs comply with relevant technical standards, regulations and approval requirements.
• Working alongside other engineering disciplines and external stakeholders to coordinate project delivery.
• Taking increasing ownership of project work while contributing to the continued growth of the department.

Requirements for the Civil Drainage Engineer

• Around 3-5 years' experience working within a civil engineering consultancy or similar environment.
• A background in residential and housing development schemes.
• Technical knowledge of drainage design, SuDS and surface water attenuation.
• Experience preparing highway layouts and adoptable infrastructure designs.
• A degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• A practical approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• A full UK driving licence and the ability to commute to Doncaster.
• Existing right to work in the UK.
