About the role
3-6 Month Contract | Inside IR35 | Manchester (1 Day Per Week) | Potential Permanent Opportunity
We’re working with a global manufacturing organisation seeking a Head of Cyber Security to lead and mature their cyber security function. This is a highly visible role with responsibility for cyber strategy, security operations, risk management, and stakeholder engagement across the business.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head of Cyber Security, Cyber Security Manager, or Senior Security Leader.
- Strong background within Microsoft environments (Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Security).
- Experience leading security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and cyber risk programmes.
- Strong understanding of ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including executives and board-level leadership.
- Experience managing third-party security providers and driving security improvements across complex environments.
- Manufacturing or industrial sector experience is highly desirable.
