Quality Consultant
Location: Wisbech
Minimum 6-Month Contract
Salary: Negotiable
Full-Time, On-Site
An experienced Quality Consultant is required to support a food manufacturing business in Wisbech through a period of quality system improvement and change.
This is a hands-on role for a solutions-focused professional who can assess existing processes, identify gaps, and implement robust quality systems that meet customer and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and improve quality systems, procedures, and documentation.
- Update and rewrite SOPs alongside shop floor teams.
- Improve traceability and audit readiness across the site.
- Liaise with customers to understand and meet quality requirements.
- Support and guide the Quality Manager and wider team.
- Drive practical improvements and resolve compliance issues.
About You
- Proven quality leadership experience within food manufacturing or packaging.
- Packaging industry experience would be highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of audits, traceability, and quality systems.
- Confident communicator who can work effectively from shop floor to senior leadership level.
- Proactive, decisive, and able to deliver lasting improvements.
