IHT, Trusts and Estates Assistant Manager

A UK Top 40 Accountancy and advisory practice is seeking an IHT, Trusts and Estates Assistant Manager to facilitate further growth for their Cardiff office. They support a diverse client base, including entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals, Owner-managed businesses and multinational groups.

Candidacy for this position will be considered with the following experience;

• ACA/CTA/TEP, but QBE also considered.
• Experience with trust and estate Tax Returns and accounts.
• Commercial attitude and outlook.
• Experience of drafting advisory work.
• Leadership experience.

IHT, Trusts and Estates Assistant Manager duties and responsibilities;

• Preparing and reviewing trust and estate accounts and tax returns.
• Drafting forms IHT400 and IHT100.
• Producing advisory work for both UK and international trusts.
• Organise teams as needed, managing the progress, delivery of the team’s work and reporting to senior leadership/stakeholders.
• Participate in departmental resource planning.
• Ensure that the client base is informed of technical updates that may affect their affairs.

You would be working a 35 hour week (Mon-Fri) and benefitting from hybrid working from home options, usually three days office based.
