Finance Manager – 9-Month Contract

We are working with a respected organisation seeking a Finance Manager on a 9-month contract, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of the finance function, lead a small team, and support senior management in delivering accurate and timely financial information.

The Role:
Reporting to the senior financial lead, you will:

• Manage and develop a small finance team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all processes
• Support senior management in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Oversee the preparation of management accounts and statutory accounts
• Ensure accurate billing, credit control, and supplier payments
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and statutory obligations, including VAT and payroll
• Collaborate with other teams to monitor budgets and control costs

The Candidate:

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or studying towards a recognised qualification
• Proven experience managing finance operations and teams
• Strong financial management skills with excellent attention to detail
• Hands-on, proactive, and able to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
