Envision Education is seeking a qualified and dedicated PSHE Teacher for a primary school in Southall, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
This is an opportunity to help children develop emotional wellbeing, confidence, resilience, positive relationships and essential life skills through engaging, inclusive lessons.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver accessible PSHE lessons tailored to pupils' needs.
- Promote emotional awareness, personal safety, healthy choices and respect for others.
- Adapt teaching methods and resources to support different learning needs.
- Monitor pupils' progress and encourage personal development.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, the SENDCo and other staff.
- Maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive classroom.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in England.
- Experience supporting children with SEND in an educational setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A patient, inclusive approach to teaching.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check.
Primary PSHE teaching experience is desirable.
